Lockup to start, Jericho grabs a side headlock. Armbar reversed by HBK, then Jericho reverses it back. Shawn fights out with a back elbow, shoulderblock. Springboard crossbody by HBK, Jericho rolls over for two. Backslide by HBK gets two. Side headlock by Jericho, HBK fights back. Another cradle gets two. Into the ropes, sunset flip attempt by HBK is blocked for two. HBK rolls through for two of his own. They exchange slaps to the face. Back bodydrop by Jericho. Jericho goes for the Walls, but HBK fights back with an inside cradle for two. Jericho gets a Facecrusher bulldog for two. Lionsault is avoided, he gets a clothesline.
The buzzer sounds and Randy Orton is let out of the cage. He gets a high crossbody on HBK for two. Dropkick by Orton, clothesline over the top that sends HBK over the top and onto the steel grating. Chops by Jericho, Orton gets a reverse neckbreaker that turns into a backbreaker for two. HBK back up, takes Orton down with punches. Tosses Jericho in, he kicks Shawn in the stomach and get something that I missed for a second. All three are up, Orton goes after Jericho, but he ducks and hits a back body drop on Orton that sends him over the top, back first on the steel grating on the outside. Bodyslam by Jericho on the steel. In the ring, HBK goes for a dropkick, but it’s blocked by Jericho. Walls of Jericho. Lights go out.
Kevin Nash is into the match now as the fourth guy. He decks Orton, then knocks Jericho from putting the Walls on Shawn. He picks up Jericho on his shoulder, then spears him headfirst into the black outside cage. Jericho comes up bloody while Orton works on Michaels. Nash comes in, grabs Orton and hits a sidewalk slam on him for two. Nash picks up HBK out of the corner like he’s his friend, then clotheslines him. Into the ropes, HBK ducks clotheslines, then eats a back elbow. Big boot to Jericho. HBK in, superkick on Nash. Jericho covers for three. Nash is out of the match.
Triple H is the next person into the match. HBK drills him with a superkick as soon as he comes out. Nash powerbombs Jericho. He tosses Orton into HBK, sending him down. Then he powerbombs Orton. He leaves to some cheers while all four guys lay on the ground, looking like they are out. Michaels is moving now, he rolls into the ring, bloody and covers Orton for two because Randy put his foot on the rope. He rolls over to Jericho and gets a two because his foot is on the rope. Orton, HBK and Jericho are up slugging eachother. HBK wins it, then they all get up. Orton works on HBK. Lights go out, here comes Goldberg.
He punches all three guys down. Gorilla press into a spinebuster on Orton. That’s a cool move. I give him that. He gets a double clothesline on HBK & Jericho. Spear on Orton gets the three. See ya later, Randy. Missile dropkick by Jericho on Goldberg. Gorilla press over the top rope onto Jericho sends him back first into the cage. Goldberg heads to the outside of the ring, on the cage. Jericho up and Goldberg gets a spear through one of the smaller cages. It didn’t break right away, but eventually it did. Cool spot. HBK gets a forearm on Goldberg. Top rope elbow by HBK. Sweet chin music is ducked by Goldberg, who gets a spear. Jackhammer on HBK gets the three count. He’s out. Shawn Michaels is eliminated.
Now we’re left with Goldberg, Jericho and Triple H. Hunter has not left the chamber where HBK superkicked him before. Jericho slides into the ring, Goldberg spears him and then a Jackhammer for three. Jericho is out. Now we’re down to Goldberg and Triple H.
Goldberg breaks through the Plexiglas that’s surrounding the mini cage that HHH is standing in. JR calls it shattered pieces of glass, but of course it’s not even real glass. It’s quite obvious. Goldberg tosses Triple H face first into the outer cage a couple times, busting Hunter open. He goes to spear him like a dart, but Hunter fights out with a little bit of offense. Goldberg reverses him with a clothesline on the steel grading. Back in the ring, Goldberg goes for a spear. Hunter gets the sledgehammer thrown into him by Ric Flair. Goldberg charges and HHH drills him in the head with the sledgehammer for the one, two, three after 20 minutes.
Winner: Triple H - Still World Heavyweight Champion
After the match, Randy Orton and Ric Flair come into the ring. They hold Goldberg up. Hunter drills him with the sledgehammer in the face again. Goldberg is busted open. They handcuff Goldberg’s hands to the outer cage. Hunter gets another sledgehammer shot to the face. Hunter gets in his face and says Goldberg will never see the world title.
