Lita severly distressed; WWE to introduce brand new show; "Boogeyman" Injured; Ken Kennedy; WWE interested in signing Scott H
Lita unhappy with storyline:
-Sources backstage at RAW say that Matt Hardy and Edge only speak with they need to nowadays. Lita now travels alone and is still visibly uncomfortable with the current angle involving all three parties. Sources say she does not enjoy “rubbing it in” on Matt during on-air promos, but she believes that right now her job depends on it.
WWE debuting new show:
The Raw-brand Saturday morning show on USA, which debuts Oct. 8, has been named “WWE A.M. RAW”. It’s a way to accentuate the timeslot, the brand-affiliation, and capitalize on the well-known A-show title. This also means that WWE will be ending both Velocity, and their 8+ year old show, HeAT.
"The Boogeyman injured, debut delayed:
Wrestler Marty Wright, better known as The Boogeyman in WWE, hyper-extended his knees in a match last month so his vignettes were pulled as he recovers.
Ken Kennedy a model employee:
Ken Kennedy is said to have a tremendous backstage reputation. In OVW he was knows a good worker and an all around great guy. He was brought up to the SmackDown brand after sending Tommy Dreamer some of his tapes of Independent work he had done in Wisconsin.
WWE looks to sign Scott "Razor Ramon" Hall to a legends contract:
- WWE has contacted Scott Hall about producing a toy doll based on the Razor Ramon persona.
Unnamed celebrity confirmed for Wrestlemania22:
- WWE is working out a deal to bring in a major celebrity for an appearance at WrestleMania 22. This particular celebrity is said to offer great crossover appeal.
WWE banned from using the phrase "Captain Charisma":
n a case of getting a taste of their own medicine, WWE has stopped selling Captain Charisma merchandise due to another party holding a trademark on that phrase.
Jerry Lawler worried about safety of his job:
In a recent interview with Between The Ropes radio this week, Jerry Lawler said he hopes he could become a road agent with WWE if his job as RAW commentator is ever taken away. He thinks that Jonathan Coachman was moved up from Heat in preparation of the weekly Sunday night show being cancelled next month.
